Schmetterling

Schmetterlings, like goblins, are a diminutive race, generally standing no taller than 5 feet at most. They are an insectoid race, most aptly described as humanoid moths, wings and all. Their villages, most often built in the canopies of temperate forests, are often used as landmarks for aerial navigators because of their unique tradition of creating a giant glowing sphere in the center, a magical artifact sustained by the chief of the tribe. Despite this, most Schmetterlings keep to themselves, avoiding contact with other races.
